Paul F. Persons, Sr. is the Managing Member and founder of Persons Service Company, LLC. He has owned and operated the business since 1978. His knowledge and experience in the construction field is key to PSC's success. Mr. Persons has worked in virtually every position in general, civil and mechanical construction business along with performing duties in the field and management of the Company. He has nearly 35 years of experience in the Industry with exceptional results. Mr. Persons has been married for over 30 years and has 3 children. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce.
Paul F. Persons, Jr. is Vice President of Persons Service Company, LLC and is a graduate of the Auburn University; with a degree is Building Science for the School of Architecture , Design and Construction. Mr. Persons has worked throughout the United States and internationally in Emergency Service, Building and Civil Construction Business. Mr. Persons has held management positions in various Country's such as Albania, Honduras, Puerto Rico and others for Utility and Infrastructure projects. He also managed a multi-state federal government contract for the Department of Homeland Security that covered the eastern seaboard from New York to North Carolina. Along with his experience in the Construction Business, he has managed over $300 million in recovery contracts throughout the United States including efforts throughout Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Persons is a management partner and an owner in Persons Service Company along with Managing Member of Persons Development which he jointly owns with Mr. Persons Sr. He manages finances and business development for the company as well as development and construction projects.
T.M (Tommy) Babb, Project Manager/Estimator. Tommy Babb has over thirty years in the construction field as an estimator, designer, project manager, field engineer, and journeyman. He finished a five year apprenticeship while attending and graduating from college at the University of South Alabama. He began his career at Rust Engineering as a Mechanical Estimator, working on multiple projects scattered over the entire southern United States. His experience is primarily in industrial sector, i.e. chemical plants, power houses and paper mills. Since 2003 he has been the chief estimator for the plumbing and site utilities department at Persons Service Company, LLC. Mr. Babb also serves as in house project manager for many of PSC's large commercial and industrial projects.
Thomas Adams is Project Manager and General Superintendent for the Company. Mr. Adams has been with PSC since 1991. He manages the day to day field operations along with scheduling, crew management, materials and production for the commercial/industrial plumbing and utilities department of PSC. Tommy holds his Master Pluming and Gas Fitters license in the State of Alabama along with a state medical gas license. His experience in the pipe fitting, plumbing and piping field is unmatched and plays a key role in the success of PSC.
Jerry Persons is Project manager and Superintendent for the Institutional and Medical Piping department of PSC. He has been with the company for over 10 years and has served in almost every capacity in field operations for the company. Jerry attended Southern Union College in Auburn, AL. Jerry holds a Master Plumbing/ Gas fitting License in the State of Alabama along with a Medical Gas license for the State. PSC installs medical and life support gases for many of the Gulf Coasts Hospitals and these services are solely managed by Mr. Persons.
Bryan J. Shuford is General Project Manager and Estimator for PSC. He started in the construction business in 1999 building aquatic training centers for a swimming pool construction company in southern New Mexico. Mr. Shuford joined Persons Service Company, LLC. in January of 2006 and is currently managing demolition and specialty projects for the company. He also assists in overall management and project development. Mr. Shuford graduated from New Mexico State University in May, 2003 receiving his B.A. in Government and Business as well as a minor in Spanish. During his college years Mr. Shuford served as a constituent consultant for United States Senate and attended Graduate School. He currently serves on the board of directors for YMCA of South Alabama.
Barry M. McAleer is Project Manager and Superintendent of Utility Construction for PSC. Mr. McAleer has over 25 years of experience in the Construction Business specializing in civil, utility, mechanical piping, plumbing and gas-fitting. He presently holds a Master Plumber and Gas Fitters License with a utilities endorsement in three states: Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. Under Mr. McAleer's direct supervision of commercial, industrial, municipal and civil construction, he has never sustained a loss time accident. In addition, he holds ASTM certification as a welder. His extensive background in plumbing, heating/cooling, and process systems as well as municipal water supply and treatment processes, allows for providing a full range of services to the marketplace. Mr. McAleer has experience in almost every aspect of the construction industry and serves a key role in the Company.
Paul Stevens is Project Manager of Construction. He joined Persons Service Company in 2006 to run specific projects. Paul Stevens is a Project Manager with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Paul has been employed as a Project Manager for large commercial real estate firms such as Jones Lang LaSalle, Grubb & Ellis, and Binswanger. These positions, as well as an independent contractor providing project management services for developers and corporations, has lead to a variety of projects including; 750,000 SF historic building office and retail renovation in Philadelphia, 250,000 SF new distribution center for Jones of New York, 100,000 SF renovation of a manufacturing/assembly plant for Teleflex Automotive, 35,000 SF addition to a manufacturing/assembly plant for Teleflex Automotive, new 40,000 SF/15 unit luxury condominium complex, a 1.5 mgd municipal water treatment plant, many tenant office and retail fit-outs. Paul has extensive experience in commercial renovation and new construction.
Dana Spann is Accounting Manager and Office Manger for PSC. Mrs. Spann plays a key role in administration of the company. Her dedication, honesty and integrity is evident in her 15 years of employment with the company. She is responsible for all accounting aspects of the entire operation of PSC that include job costing, administrative project management, billing and collections. Mrs. Spann is a graduate of the University of South Alabama where she obtained a Bachelor of Science.
Penny Mendel, Payroll Clerk/Accounts Receivable Manager, joined Persons Service Company in 2003. She is responsible for weekly payroll as well as accounts receivable. She is also responsible for the day to day scheduling of service calls for the repair department as well as invoicing. Mrs. Mendel has worked in a management position in a Louisiana Law Firm as well and an administrative assistant at an environmental construction company.
Mike Herrin is Co-Manager of the service department for PSC. He has been with Persons Service Company since 2002. Mr. Herrin is responsible for the day to day operation of the plumbing repair department for PSC. He served in the Unites States Army for over 18 years working as Technical Mechanic for the aviation division of the Army. He retired and began working in the plumbing and piping industry in 1995 and holds his Journeyman plumbing and gas fitting license in the State of Alabama.
Tony Chrifone is Co-Manager of the service department for PSC. He has been with PSC since 2004 and is responsible for the day to day activities and performance of plumbing and piping service work in the field. Mr. Chrifone is a licensed Journeyman plumber with over 30 years of experience in the plumbing and mechanical piping industry. His experience is unsurpassed in the business.
Jimbo Lindsey is a Job Superintendent and crew foreman for PSC. He has been with the company since 1994. Mr. Lindsey has extensive experience in managing and performing plumbing and utility projects in the field. He worked for a municipal utility company for 7 years before coming on board with Persons Service Company. He holds a State of Alabama Journeyman plumbing license and is responsible for many of PSC's largest and most complicated projects. |
